Abderhaman, 14, was killed in front of his family in 28 Jan, 2011

Abderhaman was only 14 year old, his father works at  Ministry of Endowments and look after a mosque in the center of Itsa village in al fayoum governorate. The story of killing Abderhaman  is told by his father who said that the Abdel Rahman was visiting his uncle in Suez city with the rest of the family as a normal family visit and after the wholefamily got there  and got out of the car in Suez and while the family crossed the Al’arbaein Square in which the Al’arbaein police station is located, in front of which the demonstrators were gathered in the most deadly day of the revolution of 25th of January, shooting started from the direction of police station.
Abderhaman got a gunshot in the head and was subsequently transferred to Suez General Hospital and from there to the Health Insurance Hospital in Suez, and his condition was diagnosed as “an allegation of a gunshot wound to the skull, brain tissue outside the skull, severe fainting, and a mid-skull fracture.” Rumors were made and he was detained in intensive care .

He remained at the Health Insurance Hospital in Suez until March 7, 2011, when he was transferred to the Maadi Military Hospital, where he lies in the intensive care unit, until he suffered a complete loss of sight, and a complete loss of movement on the right side of the arm, hand and leg, and a slight level of awareness until he moved to God’s mercy. During the revolution, his father spoke to Al-Ahram Gate about what happened, and pictures of him were published during his treatment in the hospital. After his death, his family held a commemoration in his village, which was attended by a large number of villagers. The child Abdel Rahman joined other victims from Fayoum Governorate, and his name was No. 343 in the list of “Blood on the Road to Freedom” heroes.
